The Con, Day 2

I picked up several bootleg Japanese movies and a novella at the dealer's room. Not bad, I think.
Attended three panels and a reading. "Aliens Invade... But Why?" was informative, "Striking a Pose" was hilarious (but painful), and I was actually part of the "New Pony Phenomenon" panel, which eventually broke down into trying to dissect fanfiction.
I have to say, though, I don't think I care for Julie Czarnada's writing style. Ah, well.
Between panels, I attended a showing of the film "Summer Wars", the first anime movie I've truly liked in years.
I'm already registered for next year's con. I had so much fun this year that I don't think I'll regret it.
