Chicago 2012: Day 3
Jan. 26th, 2012 08:22 pmAs I expected, you can't see more than about half the Field Museum in one day. I spent four hours there, my feet are nearly worn out, and I know for a fact that I still have much more to see to claim that I'd seen any of it at all.
I've seen exhibits of mummies, dinosaur skeletons (including the famous Sue), the bones of "Lucy", pottery and other artifacts from ancient American civilizations, and much, much more, and yet I hadn't seen half of what's on the main level.
Sadly, I ended up missing Hala Kahiki due to my ride being ill and not managing to leave his home. He gave me a definite time he'll be here to pick me up for B-Fest; if he misses this, I will have to murder him.
You think I'm joking? I owe my family three hundred dollars because of this trip. If I miss B-Fest, I will extract the payment from his flesh.
