Date: 2013-04-13 01:31 am (UTC)Ad hominem attacks are the tools of those who know they can't make an argument on legitimate grounds. Also, I live in my parent's spare room; living in the basement would actually give me more room, so I'm making plans to move into it. And I'm not proud of it, I simply haven't sold any stories yet.
How's the security gig, by the way? Still pretending you're a professional writer? At least I'm shopping my work around.
This LiveJournal wasn't created just to discredit you, Brian. It was made to dissect the work of multiple authors, though it's turned into a personal journal over time; you were just the first target.
I can't help but notice you haven't responded to a single criticism or question I raise in my sporkings.
I know your favorite author is Lewis Carroll. You keep stealing from him and abusing his work in your stories.
When it comes to theft, let's see... in SR:PI alone, you ripped off entire scenes from Star Wars: Clone Wars and Samurai Jack.
Dan Brown and John Grisham aren't what most of us would call classic literature; it doesn't reflect well on you that you cite both of them by name and lump "the classics" into one pile. I, meanwhile, recently started reading Nietzsche and Oscar Wilde. Those, most would say, take more to comprehend than The Da Vinci Code and The Client.
Neither of us have read Carroll's original works (though as I note in my sporking, I've read and reread AAIW and TTLG); that would be Charles Arthur Dodgson's mathematics papers.
To answer your last point, you'll notice I haven't updated this index in a long time. I moved on from my hate of you long ago. You, I notice, have not.
