Now, when we say fairy tales, do we mean just the traditional Grimm tales?
Because if not, I would be Ash Peter from the Scandanavian folk tale "The Ship That Sailed on Land". He had some of the most awesome sidekicks ever. (A man who was so hungry he ate rocks; a man with such good ears he heard the grass grow; a man with seven summers and six winters in his stomach...)
