Poetry: Five Summer-Chill Haiku
Aug. 11th, 2011 09:04 amCold summer morning
Wind blowing heavy outside
Winter will be harsh
Rain retreats for now
The frogs sang its farewell song
On my windowsill
A season of gnats
Insects everywhere I look
At least they'll prosper
The sunshine is weak
It battles the clouds today
Did night really end?
In this northern land
Spring and summer are mere wisps
Autumn stands alone
