Chicago 2013: Day Two
So I spent the first half of today wandering around the city looking for a specific place I'd heard about from Kingdom of Loathing players. When I found it, I learned that it didn't open until 2 PM.
So I hailed a taxi and nursed my ailing feet as I rode to Manny's Deli. There I had a decent chicken pot pie and enjoyed the ambiance.
After resting for a while in Union Station, I took a taxi back to the place in question: Insight Studios. There I waited another hour.
But at its conclusion, I came out with a tattoo. It didn't hurt quite as much as I thought it would, and now I have the Taurus-symbol tattoo I've planned on for a while.
On returning to the hotel after a brief, productive visit to a local occult bookstore, I settled onto my bed and ordered a pizza from room service. So the night has passed peacefully, aside from the need to keep my new tat clean.
