I... Really Just Signed Up For This, Didn't I?
Starting Monday, I'm taking tae kwon do classes at ATA in Burnsville.
I attended an open house today, which included a free lesson, and found it to be actually pretty fun. I always had an affection for the martial arts (blame my anime fan cred), and hell, maybe some sort of discipline and self-control skills will shake out of this.
But actually SIGNING UP for this stuff? That's not something I ever expected to add to my plate.
I hope the twenty-six-year-old, 6'2" guy with the broad shoulders doesn't freak out the eight-year-olds on either side of him on the mat.
