Sometimes Being a Nerd Sucks, Vol. 189

I was at Subway yesterday for dinner. There isn't much on the menu that doesn't have meat.

Now, I'm not an observant Catholic anymore (I'm an atheist), so I didn't worry too much about it. I ordered a meatball sub without much guilt.

But as I did, I recalled the first of the Coffin Joe movies, At Midnight I'll Take Your Soul. One of the signs Coffin Joe is a nightmarish human being is that he's shown watching a Good Friday procession... while eating a leg of lamb. Later, he forces one of his debtors to share a meat dish with him on the same day.

I hate having similarities to Coffin Joe.
