My brother's cousin, Amanda Hocking, is the author of several books. Most recently she's written two-thirds of the Trylle trilogy, with the third presumably impending.
Today I got the latest Science Fiction Book Club catalog in the mail. When I opened it, I saw that the first two books in said trilogy were now available in the book club.
Amanda, whom I've known since I was a child, who my mother used to babysit, has gotten a book series sold in the Science Fiction Book Club.
That's it. No more of this bullshit. No more writer's block.
